Realtors,

Below you'll find important documents to accompany the sale of a home in Broken Island. As the listing (selling) agent, please advise the Broken Island Homeowner’s Association (BIHOA) that you are placing a home or lot on the market in our community. This will assist the board as we anticipate the request for the Resale Disclosure Package. All business is conducted electronically unless otherwise specified. There is a $100 fee for the packet. The following steps will assist you and a buyer in the process. (Click on the bold, italicized words to bring you to our contact page or go directly to our contact page in the menu bar.) A For Sale sign may be placed in front of the home, (not in the right of way). Please note, no For Sale signs or Open House signs may be placed anywhere in the Broken Island neighborhood.

  1. Contact the SECRETARY of the Broken Island Homeowner’s Association (BIHOA)

  2. You will be asked to submit a formal request for obtaining the Resale Disclosure Package (which includes current association information, current treasurer report and governing documents that you require). VR610 Request for Property Owners’ Association Disclosure Packet must be filled in, signed and submitted to BIHOA in order for us to provide the packet.

The realtor cover letter and pertinent documents will be sent to you electronically (unless otherwise specified) within 14 days of receipt of the VR610 request form. An invoice will be included with the package and billed to the current homeowner. A fee of $100 payable to BIHOA is required.

Upon receipt of the Disclosure Packet, form VAR 620 must be completed and returned to the BIHOA Secretary as legal written confirmation.
